Description

Suite au décès de son mari, Martha Price accompagnée se rend aux Etats-Unis afin de vendre aux enchères son taureau de race Hereford. Ce mastodonte est repéré assez rapidement par Alex Bowen, un riche écossais qui l’achète au prix fort. Pour transporter cette vache britannique vers son nouveau propriétaire, Martha engage Sam Burnett, un cow-boy très peu distingué. Voulant faire la route avec son taureau, la jeune veuve l’accompagne à travers le désert texan. Un long chemin qui s’annonce plein de péripéties, de rencontres et surtout d’aventures à travers l’Ouest Américain.

Synopsis : When her husband dies en route to America, Martha Price and her daughter Hilary are left to carry out his dream: the introduction of Hereford cattle into the American West. They enlist Sam "Bulldog" Burnett in their efforts to transport their lone bull, a Hereford named Vindicator, to a breeder in Texas, but the trail is fraught with danger and even Burnett doubts the survival potential of this "rare breed" of cattle.
